On September 6, members of the society of the blind, visually impaired, visited the Museum of Weights and Measures.
This excursion trip had been planned for a long time, and, finally, a group of VOS members arrived at our museum. "For the visually impaired and the blind, the opportunity to become familiar with the history of world culture, broaden their horizons, raise the cultural level is of great importance - all this contributes to an increase in interest in life, an improvement in the emotional state," the heads of the VOS MO wrote in a letter of thanks.
Our visitors were very attentive and enjoyed learning about the history of weight building and old scales and weights from all over the world. We shared with them the history of the scales, and they taught us how to overcome difficulties, taught us how to help each other, going around in pairs and studying the most memorable exhibits after the excursion.
We, as a socially oriented company, invite various social institutions to our Museum, we are ready to participate in various projects with free excursions and reduced tickets. Our museum is aimed at different categories of visitors and appeals to all groups of the population.
