In the field of pharmacy, pharmaceutical scales or, as they are also called, apothecary’s scales since olden times were used, providing relatively high accuracy of weighing. Prototypes of such scales appeared thousands of years ago. They were known even in ancient Babylon and Egypt. With their help, the priests of the temples weighed medicines and embalming means.
