The Estonian Museum of Scales in Mustvee is based on the private collection of its founder Heino Lubi. The thematics of the museum was not chosen by chance. Heino Luby worked for more than 30 years as a master in scales manufacture, which perhaps played a decisive role in the choice of his hobby.
The collection of this small museum includes scales of various designs and purposes. In addition to the products of Estonian manufacturers, Soviet and Polish specimens are presented in the museum. In total you can see more than 120 different models of mechanical scales, about 50 scalebeams, as well as dozens of ceramic and metal weights and balance weights.
